SOUL'D is 25 episode anthology web series. Each episode averaging 3-4 minutes. Total series runtime of: 75 minutes.To be filmed chronologically over the course of 1 year, ranging from 12-15 shoot days.
At a post-COVID family barbecue, Zane tells his cousin how Lil Kid went from a local rapper to a superstar. He explains how industry executives controlled his image and how fame led to paranoia and bad decisions. As they discuss Lil Kid’s death, they question who was really behind it and what his success was truly worth.

Zane indulges in college life, consumed by music and revelry, but as temptation overshadows discipline, his once-clear path begins to unravel.

After failing a drug test and losing his scholarship, Zane recounts his return home, his search for meaning in church, and his rise in the underground scene, where temptation pushed him further from redemption.

Zane’s introspective verse collides with Lil Kid’s flamboyant, hedonistic aesthetic, and as the music video descends into eerie occult symbolism, he grapples with his artistic integrity.

Two boys walk home from school as one tells the tale of Robert Johnson, the bluesman who met the Devil at a crossroads. As the story unfolds, the scene shifts to a surreal retelling of the fateful deal that changed music forever.

EP. 11: LIL KID LISTENING PARTY
As Zane thinks about the cost of success he watches Lil Kid wear a crown and soak in fan worship making him wonder if they are making music or a false god

EP. 12: LIL KID’S LAST STUDIO SESSION
Zane's young cousin asks about Lil Kid's last studio session, sparking questions that refuse to rest.

EP. 13: ZANE THE ARTIST
After his band goes viral, Zane must choose between staying true to his art or selling out to the industry.
